A cataract, by definition, is a cloudy lens in the eye that may or may not affect vision significantly. Most people are born with a clear lens that helps to focus an image on the retina. When the lens loses its transparence, the image that we see becomes blurry.

Cataract patients now have an option to choose a Premium IOL implant allowing them to see at both near and far distances after cataract surgery! NEW multi-focal or Presbyopic IOL technology can now decrease dependence on glasses after surgery.
